Hair Extension Course



The Hair Extension Course is popular in various settings. Many people prefer to lengthen their short hair or add volume. This course shows you all relevant techniques to do so. This can definitely increase your income as you are working with 100% human hair, individually tailored for each customer.

After your last practical training class, a certificate of attendance is issued out to you upon REQUEST FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF R300. IT SERVES AS A RECORD OF YOUR PARTICIPATION AND CAN BE USED AS PROOF OF YOUR ATTENDANCE FOR PROFESSIONAL OR ACADEMIC PURPOSES. Your certificate of attendance IS NOT a qualification.

Should you wish to further your studies and qualify, you may complete the course by passing the exams. You are then given exclusive Advance Nail Technology certificates.

PLEASE NOTE: There are no prerequisites for any course. You do not have to complete The National Beginners Nail Course Level 1 to complete The National Beginners Nail Course Level 2 etc.

How It Works

The Hair Extension Course without examination fees is R12350.00 (includes training, full kit and registration fee of R350.00) which is payable 2+ weeks prior to training. Examination Fees of R1050.00 (R525.00 x 2 examinations) is payable on the day of the examination.

Once paid, set dates are arranged according to your schedule for your convenience. You must attend 2 classes from 10h00 to 13h00 on either Tuesdays, Thursdays and/or Saturdays on a weekly basis at the training venue in Pretoria. Click here for location.

The latest Hair Extension sectioning, application & removal techniques, to either add in high-/lowlights or volume to the hair, are taught step-by-step in an orderly fashion. You are also taught how to make a perfect estimate number of bonds required for the best result.

After your last practical training class, a certificate of attendance is issued out to you upon request. Your certificate of attendance IS NOT a qualification.

Should you wish to further your studies and qualify, you are given 36 weeks after your final practical training class to perform several case studies in which you perfect your skills in applying hair extensions.

PLEASE NOTE: A model is required for each day of training.

Examinations & Assessing

Within 36 weeks after the completion of the final practical training, you return for your final practical & theory examination. The theory examination is openbook wherewith you complete using the Advance Nail Technology manual given to you in your kit.

Practical passing rate is 90% and Theory passing rate is 75%.

Once you pass both exams, a national hair extension certificate will be issued. View a preview of a certifacte down below.

Examination & Assessing fee of R1050.00 (R525.00 x 2 examinations) is payable on the day of the examination.
