Waxing Course



The Waxing Course is preferred above any other forms of hair removal courses due to its effective methods to remove large amounts of hair at once. This long-lasting easy method is thoroughly taught in this course.

After your last practical training class, a certificate of attendance is issued out to you upon request. Your certificate of attendance IS NOT a qualification.

Should you wish to further your studies and qualify, you may complete the course by passing the exams. You are then given exclusive Advance Nail Technology certificates.

PLEASE NOTE: There are no prerequisites for any course. You do not have to complete The National Beginners Nail Course Level 1 to complete The National Beginners Nail Course Level 2 etc.

How It Works

The Waxing Course without examination fees is R6250.00 (includes training, full kit and registration fee of R350.00) which is payable 2+ weeks prior to training. Examination Fees of R1050.00 (R525.00 x 2 examinations) is payable on the day of the examination.

Once paid, set dates are arranged according to your schedule for your convenience. You must attend 3 classes from 10h00 to 13h00 on either Tuesdays, Thursdays and/or Saturdays on a weekly basis at the training venue in Pretoria. Click here for location.

Waxing application methods, peeling techniques and product knowledge on several types of waxes & skins are taught step-by-step in an orderly fashion. You are also taught how to troubleshoot skin reactions.

After your last practical training class, a certificate of attendance is issued out to you. Your certificate of attendance IS NOT a qualification.

Should you wish to further your studies and qualify, you are given 36 weeks after your final practical training class to perform several case studies in which you perfect your skills in waxing.

PLEASE NOTE: A model is required for each day of training.

Examinations & Assessing

Within 36 weeks after the completion of the final practical training, you return for your final practical & theory examination. The theory examination is openbook wherewith you complete using the Advance Nail Technology manual given to you in your kit.

Practical passing rate is 90% and Theory passing rate is 75%.

Once you pass both exams, a national hair extension certificate will be issued for practical and theory. View a preview of a certifacte down below.

Examination & Assessing fee of R525.00 (R525.00 x 2 examinations) is payable on the day of the examination.

PLEASE NOTE: Full payment of course (at least R6250.00) is required 2+ weeks prior to training.
