Advance Pedicure Course



The Pedicure Course is similar to the Manicure Course as it is for the feet. It differs from the other nail courses, such as The National Beginners 1 Nail Course since its primary focus is the caring of the natural toenails, instead of working with artificial nails. It is a cosmetic treatment of the toenails, including shaping and polishing to restore it to its former beauty

After your last practical training class, a certificate of attendance is issued out to you upon REQUEST FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF R350. IT SERVES AS A RECORD OF YOUR PARTICIPATION AND CAN BE USED AS PROOF OF YOUR ATTENDANCE FOR PROFESSIONAL OR ACADEMIC PURPOSES. Your certificate of attendance IS NOT a qualification.

Should you wish to further your studies and qualify, you may complete the course by passing the exams. You are then given exclusive Advance Nail Technology certificates.

PLEASE NOTE: There are no prerequisites for any course. You do not have to complete The National Beginners Nail Course Level 1 to complete The National Beginners Nail Course Level 2 etc.

“SETA” stands for -“ Sector Education and Training Authority” in South Africa and are considered governmental assigned education and Training Quality Assurance (ETQA)bodies. It ensures quality and genuine qualification that is Nationally benchmarked and Internationally comparable.

How It Works

The Manicure Course without examination fees is R7550.00 (includes training, full kit and registration fee of R650.00) which is payable 1+ weeks prior to training. Examination Fees of R1190.00 (R595.00 x 2 examinations) is payable on the day of the examination.

Once paid, set dates are arranged according to your schedule for your convenience. You must attend 3 classes from 10h00 to 13h00 on Fridays only on a weekly basis at the training venue in Pretoria. Click here for location.

Treatments, polishing, shaping and various other manicure techniques are taught in an orderly fashion.

Should you wish to further your studies and qualify, you are given 36 weeks after your final practical training class to perform several case studies in which you perfect your skills.

PLEASE NOTE: A model is required for each day of training.

Examinations & Assessing

Within 36 weeks after the completion of the final practical training, you return for your final practical & theory examination. The theory examination is closebook wherewith you complete using the Advance Nail Technology manuals given to you in your kit.

Practical passing rate is 90% and Theory passing rate is 75%.

Once you pass both exams, national pedicure certificate will be issued for both practical and theory. View a preview of a certificate down below.

Examination & Assessing fee of R1190.00 (R595.00 x 2 examinations) is payable on the day of the examination.
